What the user needs

Any X account. Nothing special.

Publishing behaviour

Text up to 280 characters, with either up to four images or a single video. Mixing a video and images in one post is rejected. Unlike Instagram and Threads, X does not fetch from your URL — Chirio downloads the media and uploads the bytes to X. The URL still has to be publicly reachable at publish time. There is no carousel and no comment API on X, so a firstComment on an X target is reported commentStatus: "unsupported" and costs you nothing.

Links cost more

A post containing a link costs 13× one without
X charges per created post, and prices a post containing a URL far above a plain one. Chirio passes that through: 5 units for a plain X write, 65 for one containing a link. Nothing else about the post changes the price.
Because X has no comments, the usual escape hatch — putting the link in the first comment — is not available here. If link cost matters to your volume, the options are to omit the URL from X specifically, or to accept the higher unit count. Link detection is deliberately generous: a scheme-less example.com/x still counts as a link, because that is how X treats it too. See Metering for how units become money.
